Now’s the Time to Build on Progress

Since 2018, Vote Save America has been a one-stop-shop for all the information and tools you need to make your plan to vote in any election, and once you’re set with that, to do even more to impact the outcome by volunteering, donating, and getting your friends involved. We work with political strategists, organizers, and activists to find the best ways for you to help elect progressive leaders up and down the ballot.

But now it’s 2021. Thanks to voters and the hard work of volunteers and organizers across the country, Democrats now control the White House and both Houses of Congress for the first time in 10 years. 

The Vote Save America community is now over 500,000 strong. What’s ahead of us now is how we can build on our progress to help write that next chapter in the coming months and years.

The VSA team is taking the time to find out what we need to do to leverage the power of this community. Here are some of the questions we’re going to be working on answers to:

• How can we be the most effective resource for voters in the upcoming 2021 elections?
• What are the first steps we can take to support organizers building capacity in the places that will determine whether Democrats can hold the House and Senate in 2022?
• And most immediately, how can we support the project of democracy reform, from passing the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, to fighting unfair gerrymandering, and stopping voter suppression?

So stay tuned! There is a lot of work to be done, but we’ve seen what happens when we organize and work together to build a better future.
