Get in, We’re Taking Back the House

Only a year into his second term, Donald Trump has broken down the institutions that are core to our democracy, wrecked the economy, and has undermined the hardworking people he claimed to care about by giving massive tax breaks to billionaires. 

Congressional Republicans have given him free reign to do it.

If we want to reverse this damage and re-build an America that honors basic freedoms, the rule of law, equality, and democracy itself, the most effective way to do it is by winning a Democratic majority in at least one chamber in Congress in 2026. 

Right now, Democrats need only a handful of seats to reclaim the majority in the House, making it the most strategic place to focus our energy!

The Game Plan

We’re going on offense! We’re focused on flipping Republican-held districts, from the most competitive to districts Democrats normally write off. We’re going to help secure a majority (a big one!), even with Republican interference.

We’re prioritizing House races that:

  • Are in states or areas with other competitive races at the top or down the ballot, so our efforts have a bigger overall impact
  • Have Republican incumbents who haven’t faced strong competition before.
  • Are truly winnable, whether they were very close last cycle or are in places that are typically more conservative
  • Reflect new redistricting realities across the country
  • Are places where VSA community members  like you are likely to live or have personal connections

We’ll tailor our support to make the biggest difference in each race, using a mix of funding, volunteers, and amplification. We want YOU to join us!
